Collection I'd like to see on Stardoll: Balenciaga S/2014
This is the second collection made by Alexander Wang as a new Creative Director of Balenciaga and one of my personal favorites.
"The idea was to start strong and austere, and let that unravel," Wang said earlier. "I want to bring ease into the DNA and codes of the house that I'm working with." And you can see that in collection, from molded leather that was embroidered with thread and then printed with a swirling floral motif to sheer organza veils.
It is edgy, effortless, minimalistic and undeniably chic. That's why I think it would be excellent if Stardoll puts it in stores, maybe even as a tribute store? Fingers crossed!
